Most of those issues were resolved back in beta (or shortly after), but I believe there are still some issues. In the past, there were a lot of issues due to improper tuning and other things. I'm also not sure how well the AMD/ATI cards work with PoE. It's an i7-4790k with a GTX 770 and a Samsung EVO 840 SSD (one of the fastest around). There are a lot of things that go on at that point, and it can bring a lot of systems to their knees temporarily.Īgain to contast, my system has 0 issues opening a lockbox, but I built it specifically to be able to handle things like that. All components are taxed by PoE, and especially when you do things like open a lockbox. The one thing I missed out on was the CPU as well. There are a bunch of crappy SSDs that have slow random read speeds (not as slow as a mechanical HDD, but still slow). Also, having an SSD doesn't automatically mean that you get INSTANT load speed. The processing units are basically the pipeline/bus for the shader programs that are run to do visual effects. In contrast, my GTX 7 processing units, and a base clock speed of 1046MHz. The stats for your card is that you have 800 processing units with a clock speed of 700MHz. I've seen many cases in fact where even the X1950 doesn't work. Just because the card is better than the MINIMUM REQUIRED card, doesn't mean it will run flawlessly.Īs a matter of fact, the X1950 is a TERRIBLE card and barely works with PoE.
